1. How much does it cost to import a car?

A preliminary estimate of car import costs can be obtained using the "Calculator" tab on our platform. This tool allows you to quickly estimate delivery costs.

To get an accurate calculation, your personal manager will contact you, as the final cost depends on the destination country and may vary. We take into account:

  • domestic transportation costs within the USA,
  • packaging and container loading costs,
  • sea freight costs to the selected port,
  • additional services upon client request.

Since shipping costs vary for each country, the manager will provide an individual calculation taking into account specific conditions.

2. Which ports and countries do you ship cars to?

Currently, Mochiron Cars Global has a well-established logistics system with car delivery to the following countries and ports:

  • Europe: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Lithuania, Finland, Georgia;
  • Asia and Middle East: Japan, South Korea, China, UAE;
  • Africa: main receiving ports upon client request.

If you don't see your country on the list, it doesn't mean delivery is impossible. Simply contact your personal manager, and they will provide an individual estimate for your destination.

3. When will I receive the vehicle documents?

Vehicle documents will be sent to you by courier service (e.g., FedEx, DHL, or UPS) to the address you specify when completing the transaction.

We ensure that all documents are delivered to you before the car arrives in your country, so the receiving and further processing process goes as quickly and conveniently as possible.

Document shipment is confirmed by your personal manager and accompanied by a tracking number notification for package tracking.

4. Where can I check the vehicle status?

All stages of work with your car are displayed in your personal account on the platform. There you can see:

  • when the car was received at our warehouse,
  • the moment it was loaded into the container,
  • current shipping status.

Additionally, professional photo documentation is performed - both when receiving at the yard and before loading. These photos are also available in your personal account so you can verify the car's condition at each stage.

After loading, you receive a bill of lading with the container number. Using this number on the shipping line's website, you can independently track the vessel's movement and the exact date of its arrival at the destination port.

5. Can I use your export services for vehicles that were not purchased directly through Mochiron Cars Global?

Yes, we can organize transportation of a car that was purchased not through our platform. To do this, you need to contact your personal manager and provide all information:

  • where and by whom the car was purchased,
  • whose name it is registered under,
  • where it is located,
  • what documents you have.

The manager will explain all process details and propose an optimal solution for organizing transportation. We handle logistics, loading, and document processing so the client receives full service even when purchasing a car from a third-party seller.

6. Main types of titles in the USA

A title in the USA is the main document for a car confirming ownership. It can have different statuses, and this determines whether the car can be operated, how it can be sold, and in which country it can be registered.

1. Clean Title

The car has not been in any serious accidents.

2. Salvage Title (salvage / emergency)

The car was written off by insurance as “total” (serious damage, repairs are more expensive than market value).

3. Rebuilt / Reconstructed Title (restored)

The car previously had a salvage title, but was repaired and inspected.

4. Certificate of Destruction (disposal certificate)

The car cannot be restored and registered.

5. Non-Repairable / Junk Title

The machine is officially declared unfit for use.

6. Lien Title (with encumbrance/pledge)

The car has a loan or lease.

7. Flood / Water Damage Title (flooded)

The car received serious damage from water (hurricane, flood).

8. Hail Damage Title (hail damage)

The car has serious dents and body damage from hail.

9. Lemon Title (defective / "lemon")

The car was declared defective under "Lemon Law" (irreparable manufacturing defects). Often returned to manufacturer or dealer.

10. Export Only Title (export only)

The car is prohibited from registration in the USA. Can only be exported abroad.

11. MSO / MCO (Manufacturer's Statement/Certificate of Origin)

Document for a brand new car from the factory, never registered. Used by dealers. When first registered, a title is issued.

7. How long does it take to receive a title?

The processing and receipt time for a title depends on where and how the car was purchased:

1. Car from auction

  • Title receipt takes up to 1 week.
  • Since the car was already registered in the USA, to put it up for auction, the seller must provide the auction house with the original title. Together with the car, they immediately transfer the document itself, so processing happens as quickly as possible.

2. Used car from independent dealer

  • On average, the process takes 1 to 2 weeks.
  • If the car has no lien, the title is transferred immediately after the transaction.
  • If the car is under a bank lien, after full payment, the bank releases the documents. In this case, the wait can be 1 to 3 weeks.

3. New car

  • Processing time is longer since the title is being issued for the first time.
  • Usually takes 3 to 6 weeks after purchase.

Thus, the minimum title receipt time is 1 week, and the maximum is up to 6 weeks, depending on the transaction type and lien presence.
